So, we all know that the EFKE and Adox CHS films all suffered an untimely demise.

Today I couldn't help but notice on the Adox website, that they hope to make CHS films again.

Is this a pipe dream, or something to look forward to?

    Cheers

Well Mirko has brought back MCC paper and APX400, Polywaormtone is on its ways as well so yes it could happen.

Fotoimpex/Adox know what the demand is they were the main distributors for both Forte and EFKE before the closures.

    No.

Recently Mirko stated in his german forum that they won't re-make those CHS emulsions due to technical reasons related to those emulsions.
He can imagine though to make an up-to date, repeatable emulsion incorporating charecteristics of CHS. However Adox follows a different price-policy than Efke he added.

As we saw in the past Adox can only follow a limited number of projects the same time, and the demise of Efke-filmproduction added new possible projects.

Thanks for the offer Andy - I'll see how I go, as I may take you up on the offer.

I was set to make an order to BH/Freestyle and then realised that these films were not available.

Freestyle has Efke in stock (same emulsion as Adox).

So they do. They have a little less of it now, but I left quite a bit for the rest of you. They show a lot of sheet-film sizes as out of stock, but if their web site is accurate there's a pretty good variety of Efke emulsions still in stock in 35mm and 120.
