    ...mine, of course.

    Yesterday she went to a book sale at the local library and found for me a hardcover set of the Ansel Adams Photography Series. The Camera is highlighted in many places, but The Negative and The Print look to be in nearly perfect condition. She paid $6 for the set. A valued addition to my collection of photography books to be sure.

    By the way, I have softcover copies of The Negative and The Print that I will make someone a good deal on.

    Good morning, Dan Henderson;

    Yes, sir. Your nomination is justified, judging from your accompanying supportive text. You might keep her around for a while; I think she has merit. In fact, with such consideration for you and your idiosyncracies, to avoid competition from other guys with deep seated interests in photography, you might even entertain the thought of a ring.

    I thought you were going to say Felix Baumgartner's. Any chick who will support you breaking the sound barrier skydiving is seriously cool.

    Do wives count? Mine is very supportive and frequently carries my tripod (along with her Kindle :D). Her encouragement exceeds my LF skills as I learn to use my 4x5.

    Wives do count, (one diamond, two diamonds, three diamonds, "door") after buying all this camera equipment I have to remember the door is there if I do not come up with some compressed carbon every once and a while!

    Actually I am up for the husband of the year award with my wife. I purchased her a Leica 10x32 binoculars for her bird watching. Paid more for them that most of the cars I have purchased over the years as a growing young man. So she really was happy, until I faied to empty the cat box properly. And so it goes, Leica binos can be swept aside by a cat turd.

    So my Latin is crap, so are Kitty Droppings that washed away my Great Hubby Nomination but I looked it up an I think you said "thus passes the glory of the world"

    I just wanted to comment on Dan's great girl friend; Latin, kitty poo, tripod sherpas, it all get so complicated.

    Dan, I second your nomination! All in favor?

    Since wives count I nominate mine. She told me recently after a get-together with her girlfriends that they asked about married life and me, and the only complaint she had about me was that I didn't spend enough time on my photography. :smile:

    "Thus passes the glory of the Leica." Either that or or "Gloria got motion sickness on the train and puked on her Leica."
