I just processed some of the Arista Ultra 400 film (120 format). The negs have a distinct blue tint to them. I also processed a roll of Ilford Delta 400 film as well, and it looked its usual color.
Just curious, has anyone else used this film? The negs look fine. I haven't printed them yet, but they appear fine. I was just surprised by the blue color.
    Thanks,
    Steve

Yes, the color is normal. You'll find it in all the Arista.EDU Ultra 120 roll films. I hear that the color is there in the sheet films as well.

FWIW, Arista.EDU Ultra is made by Foma, and Foma 120 films (and larger formats, too, I believe) all have this blue tint, too.

I've used the Ultra in 35mm, 120 and 4x5. Only the 120 has the blue tint. 35mm and 4x5 looks like normal film.

yup, only the 120 has the blue tint to my knowledge. I've used it in sheet film as well and there is no tint.

It's kind of a pretty blue isn't it? Even thought it doesn't affect my scans or prints at all, I rather enjoy seeing it on the negative (yes, I'm simple like that...).
