    OK folks,

I've started this thread so that you can post when you have sent your print and when you received your print too. Also, use this thread to make any comments about the Round, about the print you sent/received, or any other updates.

Also a reminder, that for whatever reason (none needs to be given) that if you can't honour your commitment, please send the print you received with a little note. Thanks.

So, what are you reading this for? Get printing! :D

    Thanks, Art.

I've already printed two. Now I have to decide which one I'll send. Also, the envelope and protection cardboard are with me, so I just need the address to send it.

    Cheers

    Hi folks,

    This is an IMPORTANT reminder.

The blind print exchange is international in it's framework. It's one of the reasons so many choose to sign up. So, that said, when you do get a recipient that is outside your country, please do NOT state the value of photograph greater than $10USD / EUR 10 / equivalent or thereabouts.

Now, I realize that may be a blow to some egos, but otherwise, your print may languish in some customs office for months. And further, it may cause the recipient to pay a duty to receive the print, which he/she may or may not want to do.

    Regards, Art.

Shoot, I forgot one more thing ...

OK, some folks have asked if they could send nudes as subject matter. Oiy, this is going to be a interesting post, eh?

Well, it really is up to you in the end.

    But .... consider this ....

You may not know your recipient. You may not their sensibilities and what may offend them. Further in some countries, any nudity may be considered pornography or the likes and you may get the person in trouble with possession. I don't know, I'm just speculating.

So, here's my suggestion. If you don't know the person, I would be on the safe side and send a flower or rock or a tree, that sort of thing. That's just a suggestion. It's not a rule people, so all you guys that shoot nudes, don't jump on my ass for this, k? And if anyone brings up freedom of expression, I am going to puke on you. Really, I am.

Feel free to file my suggestion in the circular file.

    Regards, Art.

IMPORTANT message to spiralcity, fearc, photobum and Andrew Moxom: I think made a boo-boo and I need you guys to send me your real names and addresses in a private message (PM) ASAP! I sent PMs too, but I wanted to make sure you guys got the request.

Unfortunately, I have to give you guys a deadline of 24 hours otherwise, I'll have to take you off the list.

    Thanks, Art.

I have not received a PM telling me who to send a print to. An oversight or I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure I PM'd my current address. If not let me know.

    Hi Kate,

No one's got a PM yet. I was about to send them when I discovered an error and requested the addresses above.

    Regards, Art.

OK, OK, OK people! PMs have been sent to everyone except fearc and photobum. Sorry for the impersonal 'form letter' feel - but I had 40+ of them to send out and my fingers were aching!

So now get printing and be sure to send your print out by the end of November. Oh shoot, that means me too ...

    Regards, Art.

My print is on the way. If everything goes right, it will reach its destination in one week.

Thanks!-too bad APX 100 isn't around any more because it had the most beautiful tonality of any medium speed film (esp in PMK)....apart from VP (too bad that's gone too). Ah well, life goes on -and it's the seeing that counts.
