I tried it today, and made quite a mess. I had my regular jobo tank on a unicolor roller, developer went in and came out with no problems, but the lid popped off a minute after the blix went in, spilling blix all over the table. I assume its some kind of carbonate creating CO2 gas and building pressure. I'm aware that I could simply open the lid for a moment to release the pressure, but if I'm to take the drum off the roller and the cap off the drum every 30 seconds, I might as well just process it with the inversion method. I was thinking of just leaving the cap off, since the hole in the center seems to be the only way of liquid getting out, but a test with water shows that theres an outlet all the way around the outer edge of the tank. Maybe I can get another lid and poke a hole through the center. Any suggestions from someone with a little more experience?
