I'm going to be wandering around Paris from Nov 2 through Nov 9. Thought I'd throw out an invite to anyone that might live in the Paris area. I still haven't figured out were I'm staying (probably a cheap hostel or something). Would love to meet up with and Parisian APUGers if there are any.

Shoot an email, PM, or post on here and I'll respond. I'll be wondering around with a bag full of 120 Tri-X and my hasselblad.

It's up in the middle of Montmartre, and old french bar, with very simplistic rooms and shared bathroom/shower. It's a great place to meet people (in the bar) and the rates are brilliant (cheap) for being Paris/Montmartre.

I used two live 2 mins from there (I now live in the South of France) and have had friends staying there, it's a great "cheapskate" place to stay.

    Enjoy!

I'm sure there's lots of us here based in Paris. Felinik's link is a very good one. I lived in that area for 7 years prior to moving just a little outside of Paris . (Kids grew up fast and appt life got a bit suffocating)
Please pm me when you get some down time. I'm getting married on the 10th of Nov. and definitely can profit a little from a little distraction days before dday.

Here's an amazing "local" restaurant also up in Montmartre, "french cuisine", food is superb, ambience on top, and the staff friendly open minded and very nice people (it's an older gay couple that owns the place, two GREAT persons!!).
