    I didn't realize it was only $10 per image with no minimum. I'll be entering. Thanks.

    10$ per image - I think this is pretty high. So if you want to submit 5 images - 50$.

    It's just not out of character with other juried photo competitions. The nice thing about this one is that there's no minimum. I can submit one image for $10. Its sister competition, Krappy Kamera, is a flat $40 for up to five images.

    A trophy, yes. And other assorted goodies, not to mention at least four rolls of Ilford film for each of the top three placings. Not too shabby -- but no one's really entering these competitions for the prizes (certainly not the trophy).

    So it looks like photo competitions are a nice job to run. Better to organize one than to apply to :smile:.

    Who's getting rich on photo competitions? They're a good fundraising source to keep small galleries like these in business. (This is America, remember. The government isn't so generous to the arts over here...)

    Commercial art galleries are not subsisdized in Europe either.
