I am working on a project that will require bleaching parts of LF neagtives (on purpose - by design) I believe this leaves out Pyrocat and any other staining developer. I would probably consider PC-TEA or Xtol for the project - I have had good luck with staining developers when making AZO (or Kalitype) prints - the densities and UV stain blocking work for me - but I believe using potassium ferrocyanide will not remove the stain densities and will not acheive what I am trying to do. Now - if I am not using a staining developer ... should I be developing for N+2 and a greater densitiy i.e. TRI X at 600 and N time + 50% or so? How does one usually develop for AZO (or Kalitype) in a non pyro process?
