Can anyone recommend a good print-film lab that offers a mail-order service? The few local labs that remain in my immediate vicinity all do a lousy job now.

    ... or Dale Laboratories.

I really like The Darkroon, BTW.

Thanks, everybody. I'll check out your recommendations!

For the record, I live in Virginia and shoot 35mm print film, usually Kodak 200 or 400.

I use Colourworks in Wilmington, DE. They do great work in developing, and are one of the few labs to still do optical enlargements from color negatives.

John... for that kind of film I use Costco. Do you have one nearby -- cheap , fast, and high-quality.

This comes up quite often. I wonder if there might be value in corraling these in one place to include Geo location and perhaps an (*) if they are a forum sponsor? Just a thought.
