I was reading another post somewhere that mentioned with certain E-6 kits, (not Kodak brand) that the First Developer time was different for Kodak (brand) and Fuji (brand) E-6 films. I use straight Kodak (brand) chemistry in a 3.5 gallon sink line to process all my E-6. I have always thought that the First Developer time was standardized, with the starting point being 6.5 min. at 100f, then adjusting longer a bit as the developer aged over a couple of weeks. Is this not correct, with respect to Kodak chemistry? Have I been under-developing my Fuji Provia?
