Günter Rössler died on the last day of the year. He was one of the most famous nude-photographers of the GDR. He even got his photos into the Playboy, a magazine not available in the GDR... He is one of the few photographers a full-length movie documentary is devoted to which just has been released at german cinemas and on DVD: "Die Genialität des Augenblicks" [The ingenuity of the moment] At least the DVD version is English subtitled. trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icsz1NFcZN4 Actually I myself only know of two popular GDR nude photographers: Günter Rössler and Klaus Ender.
