I was in NYC for a day and decided to stop in at Lens and Repro Co. on 17th St. Not used to a Manhattan sense of space, the tiny locked vestibule after a tiny elevator (do I need to say that I'm not a tiny guy?) freaked me a bit, but the folks inside were great. I had been looking for an inexpensive coated lens for 8x10 and they had a 15" Paragon APO lens in barrel that was new, old stock from the 70's for short money. I haven't used the thing yet, but I wanted to say that the experience of buying it was really very pleasant and that I'd go back in a minute. Just a plug for a shop where they treated an old bottom-feeder with respect and some good advice. Anything I should know about the lens?
