Hailing from Riga, Latvia. Found this forum through reddit's /r/analog subreddit, and really glad I did. It looks like there's tons of useful information on here. I've been dabbling in analog photography for a little over a year, but nothing serious has come of it, since it's pretty expensive over here. Buying and developing a roll of 120 costs me about 10, so now I'm looking into developing myself, so I can stock up on film and just go out and shoot the format I love. I'm currently using the original Lubitel from 50's which I got from a flee market, but I'm looking to buy a better medium format camera in the future, because Lubitel really does feel a bit like a toy camera, that and it's not in too good of a shape. I also have a Zenit SD, but it's broken and a broken Start camera, also from the Soviet era. Definitely looking for a 35mm that works too. Anyways, as far as my photography itself goes, I mostly shoot streets and sometimes do little photo sessions, if I feel like doing it. Usually out of my own initiative. I've got a project where I'm documenting graffiti in Riga. I enjoy just going out and wandering around the city, looking for good spots and interesting walls. I'd describe myself more as a hobbyist than a serious photographer. Anyhow, glad to be here.
