Hi, I've been here for a few days, and am impressed.

I take mainly monochrome pictures, and work with both analog and d*, but will forget the d* while I'm here (except for scanning negatives or prints). main interests are flora and landscape.

rather than witter on about myself (which I'm not good at) I'll post a few pictures instead, to the critique gallery as I'm sure i have lots to learn from you!

Hello Mike and welcome. I have viewed the images that you posted in the critique gallery. What a wonderful manner of self introduction. I like a person that lets their work speak for them and your images do express volumes. I look forward to more of your expressive dialogue.

    Hello Mike,

Welcome to APUG. I only stumbled onto this site recently and I like it here. A bit of d* is OK but I'm glad to have a place quite free from film vs d* ravings!

Hope you're having a lovely White Christmas.

    Best wishes,
    Jin

Not much chance of that! Forecast is for rain and 11 degrees (51 for those using Fahrenheit). Grey and drizzle this morning.

Welcome to APUG, the best photo forum around, I'm sure that you'll get a lot out of it. It's also good to have another Brit in the group.

After years working in the tropics, I found that it was very easy to grow out of the appeal of snow !
