Hello. I bought 4 boxes of 25 sheets 3 weeks ago thinking I'd be using it relatively shortly. Doesn't look like I will need it yet so I'm wondering how long I can realistically keep it (at around 65F/low humidity) before it will start behaving at all differently versus new (that means contrast, dmax, color, response to toners).

If it's less than say 6 months I'll probably put it in the classifieds.

    Thanks

I have boxes of 11x14 of the same stuff that I bought over a year ago and it's still the same. Stored at similar conditions but cooler.

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll keep it around.

I keep my papers in the freezer. Never had any trouble, even after several years. Regular refrigerator should be fine too. I do put the boxes in a plastic zip-lock bag just to keep the moisture out, and take it out of the freezer a day or two before I'm going to use it.

My experience is that like all warm tone papers it gets slightly cooler with age. It's noticeable after 12-18 months but maybe more so because I'm often coaxing maximum warmth from papers.

I bought a box of 11x14 warmtone FB in the fall of '09 - I thought I'd do a bunch of printing before having my son. Well, I finally opened the box a few weeks ago and it seems fine so far. I do plan to use it fairly soon, but the best laid plans...
