I've just written an article that tries to explain my personal attitude towards black-and-white silver-gelatin photographic prints. It started as a kind of a love letter to a print, but then I made it a bit more practical, focusing on some aspects of print presentation which, I think, are being forgotten. Overall, I was trying to clarify why the print matters more to me than an ephemeral digital image does. I look forward to your feedback, and I hope I have not been too controversial with some of my statements. You can find it here. See you at our next get-together, in a month or so.
