I feel the need to preface this ad by saying that having to sell this little beauty is painful for me. I am facing a move, and unfortunately everything non-essential needs to go. I know that I'll probably never see one in this condition again. Anyway, on to the camera! This is a Konica Auto S3, manufactured in June of 1974. It recently had a full CLA by Frank Marshman (CameraWiz in Harrisonburg). Everything is operating 100%. I recently had an issue with the back not opening, but I sent it back to Frank and everything is fine and dandy now. The screw that holds the rewind fork to the shaft had broken, preventing the rewind fork from lifting fully and disengaging the back. As I said earlier, this has been repaired and the camera is operating at 100%. There are some very minor cosmetic flaws with the body - Some small nicks in the paint, but no dings or major mars. I would rate the body at 8.5/10 There are some small dust particles in the lens, but NO scratches or other marks. I would rate the lens at 9/10. All in all, I believe that this is a remarkably clean and functional example of the Auto S3. Viewfinder is clear and bright. Camera comes with third party lens cap, which is not shown in the pictures. I am looking for $200 shipped CONUS, not looking for trades at this time.
