Hi, i just thought I'd post this for all the other novice "repair men" out there, I purchased a non working minolta autocord (sold in "good condition, i dont know anything about cameras though, as is, no returns"...lol) with a seikosha-mx shutter. After freeing up the shutter, the B mode worked only at about 1/60th of a second and wouldnt hold open. After a reasonably straight forward disassembly i got the shutter open and after a long hour of trial and error i found the problem. the glowing red screw was very tight and the movement underneath it was stuck fast. A touch of Naptha and skerrick of silicone lube got it moving freely and voila! B mode now works fine..
