    Hey,

i possess a wonderful minolta srt 303 - my first (analogue) camera which worked and works like a charm for several years right now - but it got a problem.

The Mirror does not return after i took a picture - only after i rewind the film, the mirror is down again.

What to do? It is not a problem of the mirror damper (relativly new).

Any idea how to fix it?

PS.: i tried this once - nothing happened - maybe give it another try?

Maybe it likes pretending it's a Hasselblad?

Ah - got it repaired by using the alternative method/the hack - hope it keeps working...

Not familiar with the hack, but I have repaired an sr-T101 with the whack. Glad it's working.

Hey thank you Chobonaut - the method in this link worked a treat with the SRT-303 that arrived today. Bought off the bay, it was rated as Excellent but of course arrived from Germany filthy and with the mirror return not working. Anyway, it's all good now.
