Hey guys, new to the forums and also new to photography. I'm currently attending (going to attend in a couple days) a government funded program, for B&W film photography. Everything is provided for free and when i heard about this i was quite excited as film photography is something i've always had an interest in, but was too costly to get into. So yeah i have a great opportunity now, and i'd like to learn as much as i can, so i can make the most of it! I will be using my Nikon Ftn, which my dad gave me. The meter does not work, as i can't get batteries for them. I'm hoping to get a hang of the sunny 16 rule, and experimenting around with the oldschool way. If anyone can give me some handy tips for starting out that would be much appreciated! well thats it.
