miranda ms-3 and stuff
Wow that is a great amount of fun there! Congrats!
yep and it was free dont know what half this stuff is or if its any good but i have a roll of film in ready to go and the camera is a K mount so my pentax camera lens work
i have noted some black spots on the lens tho on the front lens i thing so im hoping not fungus of some kind and i hope it dont show on the film
Looks great to me! I never heard of Miranda.
cant say im that fond of it so far no timer and its not so easy to change shutter speed but will see
Free is one of my favourite prices - probably my most favourite.
A couple of months ago I was given a Ricoh KR-10x (is that the Ken Rockwell model?!!) which we had at work but had never been used. Someone also gave me a Pentax 50mm f1.7 lens so now I have an excuse, I mean reason to buy some more K mount lenses as the rest of my Pentax lenses are M42.
Back in the day, Miranda was marketed by Ilford (at least in Europe).
AFAIK its main weakness was that its "original" lenses were mostly Soligors.
ill be happy to see what it can do one of the lens is badly damaged due to haven no lens cap on the front
it was used with the teliconverters for macro
Some of my first pictures with an SLR were with a Miranda. Great camera
If there are deep scratches or gouges in the front lens element, filling them with black paint can make the lens usable or even as good as pristine (apart from an insignificant loss of speed, depending on the amount of scratched surface).
ok cleand lens but i think it has fungus so im outing it
