Especially when it has a big red L on the end of it.

    All this + a Polaroid Land Camera Model 80 - the Elan 7e which I already own = $2150.

Both are f4L's and are Image Stabilized. Can't wait to see some prints off that Elan 7e through these.

You can get rid of those obnoxious red rings with a Sharpie.

No, the fun thing to do is put those obnoxious red rings on cheap consumer lenses like the EF-S 18-55, 55-250, 75-300 and watch the "pros" (I has Rebel XT DSLR in full auto = I'm a professional photographer) gawk and stare at your sooper awsum gear

Don't worry it got me for a minute once we were out on a photowalk I saw the red ring on an old 24-70 f3.5-4.5 kit lens that came on the EOS 650, 700, 630 etc. had to do a double-take for a minute there. I know there's a 24-70 L lens but I remember it being a LOT bigger than the one I saw. Lol

My favorite L at the moment is the 135 f/2
I also have the 24-70 L for event work and it does get a bit hefty after a few hours.

I had an L lens for a few months once. We did not get along, Now I have a Nikon pro lens, Needless to say she is on her way out also. Now I am not in the arena for canon or nikon pro lenses. It feels good.

Very impressive lens. The only L lens I have is the old FD 85 1.2.

My L was the EOS 50mm f/1.2 (and yes, it did have Sharpie all over it. :D) Just recently sold it. It was a great lens, but I am switching to Nikon for digital.

L lenses are nice, but they're not magical. I recently came across this rich 18-year old photographer on Flickr who had probably every L lens canon currently makes (and showing off all of them). His photographs were painfully bad. I call it the equipment to skills ratio: the photographer should always be better than his tools.

I'm only 25 and I have my share of Canon L glass but I try not to "show it off". I do my best to put it all to good use :D

Who is this showoff 18 year old? (I've seen a few on there)
