Kodak's and Agfa's variable contrast papers are
gone. That's all that is gone today because some
years ago the two of them abandoned their loyal
Graded paper customer base. Left with only the
tightly financed VC set, RC or FB, they found
    themselves without profit.

I've noticed that those producers who offer
Graded along with VC papers are still producing.
Oriental's great selection of Graded RC plus their
Graded FB may be the wave of the future. Dan

Its been rumoured that Oriental has stopped coating papers. I wrote Cybergraphics, the current name for the company Oriental, in Japan a few months ago but did not get an answer. The old emulsions seem to be history and their new papers, Segaull GF, don't lith and are rumoured to be coated abroad.
