For the rest of this week anyone who's interested has an opportunity to buy prints of images from Peter Turnley's out of print book Parisians.
The images are printed by Voja Mitrovic; signed in front by Peter and in back by Voja. I've managed to find a few other locals interested to place an order for a number of prints to take advantage of a buy 3 get 1 free offer. I thought I'd pass the info along as it seems like a great opportunity to those that might be interested. See http://theonlinephotographer.typepad.com/the_online_photographer/2012/04/peter-turnley-ii-print-offer.html for details.

I found 2 other people to split an order with and we're buying 5 prints between us. It ends up being around 265 CDN per print, delivered. I have Glance and News coming for me with 2 copies of Paris and a copy of Lovers coming for my "associates". I'm almost giddy with anticipation.

I'm also a TOP reader and would dearly love to have a copy of "Glance" ("La Brasserie de lÂ’Ile St. Louis, Paris, 1994" is the formal title) and the opportunity to experience the work of such a master printer. Unfortunately, the budget just cannot rise to this at present, so I shall have to work hard to produce some prints of my own that will hopefully give me as much pleasure (although I'm not claiming they will be anywhere near as good!).

I would buy one but damage during postage is a big concern for me.

Although I wasn't part of this group buy in, I did order one of the photos myself and had it shipped to Canada.
    I received it last week.
Most likely the most professional print packaging/shipping I've ever received.
It would be hard to damage this print the way it was shipped without driving a truck over it.

The print is very nice, just have to get a frame.
