Hi- I was planning on giving that a bash alright.
But will probably stick around the city- Were you planning on coming into town? I'm trying to muster a few friends together but not setting anything in stone for the moment, let me know if you'll be around and we can meet.

    hi daragh,

as long as i'm back to douglas by 2pm for meditation (aka how-to-be-a-hippy) i'll go anywhere. i just emailed mel - i think she's up for it - and suggested fota but i don't really mind, i'm happy to meet anywhere (***as long as there is coffee nearby***)... i'll PM you my mobile and we can decide later?

I'm up for it! Still have to make my camera though (but I should be able to whip that together on Sat). Fota sounds good or we could try the UCC grounds? I'm not fussy.

Sounds good. I'll have to finish up early too Cath to get back to the Long Point in Whitegate for the Munster match (camera in tow to catch the munster fans in action). I'll find out what time the grounds open.

    Catherine, Mel,
Hope the rest of the day went well for you both, that was a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning, and it was a pleasure to meet you.
I developed my (and my friend's) paper negs last night and lo and behold- there were images on all of them. Pleasantly surprised to say the least.

How did yezzer photos work out?

I think Mick, Sharon and Samantha may have caught the bug- so thanks for the advice and the company on the day too. It was great.

over exposed. almost every damn one of them... one 'frame' had half an image of the pavement.

should try 3 second exposures next time, i think!

as for friday, i think we are still on ... waiting to hear from mel what the plan is but i know it involves guinness and a beach somewhere... probably not at the same time.

I did a few near home. I must scan some.
My camera is f 1/152 and 30-40 second exposures were the order of the day...

found trays and developed mine last night....complete opposite to Fluffy, totally underexposed except for the nice gradient from the light leak in the lid....Think the Jimmycancam needs some optimisation!
