    Hi there

I haven't used my polaroid 454i filmback for quite some time and found that the hooks which hold the rollers are stuck. They won't move at all.

Years ago there seemed to be tutorials around showing how to take apart the whole back for cleaning rather than just unhooking the top rollers like the instructions on the back tell you to, but I must be putting all the wrong search terms as soon as I can't find them anymore.

So far I have tried WD40 on the hooks, but no joy so far. Any ideas how I might be able to save my filmback?

    Thanks

    stef,
I hope this helps, if you have any problems send me a message and I will email to you, I used to use a damp cloth and rotate the rollers to clean, after say 5 shots. I would try to get rid of the wd40 as it will contaminate the solutions and plastic.

I think the hooks to the rollers won't unhook if the lever is in the "P" position.

Yes, what Mainecoonmaniac said. Double check that the lever is set to "L".
