How many of us are there? I think it would be fun to get together sometime for a photo excursion or a print swap, or even just coffee. Anyone else?

Cool! I haven't been here that long, myself. I'm just getting started back up in photography after quite a period of not paying any attention to it. I would like to get some people together for purely selfish reasons - I might have fun and accidently learn something at the same time.

Nice web site, by the way. I've gotta get around to doing that.

HI - I'm in Portland. There's a group of 4 or so photographers I know and we get together once a month - usually at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub in SE Portland, usually on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of each month. You're more than welcome to come and chat - send me an email at kirk@keyesphoto.com and I can give you more info.

I've been away from that part of the world for years, but when I was there, The Portland Photographer's Forum was THE photography group in that part of the world. To give you an idea of the type of group it was, Brooks Jensen was the newsletter editor.

A year or so ago, I saw that they had a web site, but I have not been able to google it successfully. Might want to hit some of the photo stores and galleries to see what's happening now.

    Hi:

I live in Redmond and work in Tacoma. I could drop down on occasion for a vente drip or an excursion or whatever. Weather is iffy, but I do love excursions - I have 2 4WD vehicles, one a 4-5 passenger that will carry gear, too. It is good offroad. The other is a 2 passenger Jeep Wrangler that will really really go offroad (it's a Rubicon). I shoot LF, 8x10 down to 5x7. I know there is at least one other guy that replied to a post by me long ago about WA state sites. He has a web-site and seems to do mostly Olympic Penninsula area.

There is a member named Mark Noble in Olympia, but he is under the weather for now and can't get out. If we start anything regular, I'll be sure to tell him.
