Hey gang... the seven day weather forecast has it sunny this Sunday. I was thinking of making my way up to the Quabbin to explore a new area for me, along the eastern side just off Rte 32A, near Gate 43.

I know it's kinda last minute, but that's how my free-time becomes available.
I was thinking of arriving there sometime about 1:00 in the afternoon.

Anybody interested?? If ya is, let me know.

I'd love to as well, I'm going to be in CT shooting some foliage. Have you been to Petersham? I was there two years ago shooting and I want to go back and do some LF stuff.

I grew up next door to Petersham in Athol. The spot I want to explore is just a few miles south of Petersam center. The Quabbin is great for LF work. And color should be near peak this weekend.

I'd love to go Gene, but I have an origami teaching session in NYC on Sunday. I've been waiting for another Quabbin get together too.

    Regards, Art.

The area is so beautiful, I just wish I had more time this weekend to shoot it.

There is always more opportunities... especially between now and mid-November. As I said up above, my free time seems to pop up unexpectedly. And this is a chance for me to explore a new area of the Quabbin that seems to hold a lot of promise.
I plan on being at Gate 43 from 1:00 - 1:30, so if anyone does decide to go, maybe we'll meet up.

I'll try and make it down there. It will be a good time to break in the new (to me) Calumet.

Will you need directions... or will Map Quest get you there?
