I know I was supposed to be Christmas shopping but while doing so (honestly) I've seen a little 35mm Regulette, with a f2.8/45mm Steinheil Cassar lens.

Can't really find much useful doing an internet search, so anyone here got one or have any thoughts on these?

    Best wishes Tony

They were made by Regula in W. Germany and some of the last ones (I think production went on till the 70's or 80's) were quite plasticy and the Cassar lens is not regarded as being particularly wonderful. You can get much better compacts that this, especially on e-bay.
