image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg I had always wanted to try one of these little gems, but haven't had any luck over the years finding one in the condition I wanted for a reasonable price. Then, in the last couple of weeks I've found two. The one which I am selling, and a near identical one in black (which I will keep).

I hate to use the word "mint" - it's very subjective and never quite meets with my expectations. But this camera is just so very clean. No marks, scratches, dents - nothing. Lens is clean and clear. I put a new Weincell in it on the weekend (yes, I will include it) and the meter works fine. I can't show you the inside of it as I have a test role in there, it is pristine inside as well. No marks on the film pressure plate at all. Obviously a well cared for camera that saw little use.

The only issue that I can find is in the viewfinder frame lines. I'm not sure how to describe them, but the lines themselves are a bit spotty here and there. Almost like tiny bits had disappeared in spots. They work fine, but I do want to point that out. Viewfinder itself is clean and clear, but the framing lines are affected in this way.

Comes with the new Weincell, original Rollei case, original Rollei wrist strap and original Rollei lens cap. Looking for $ USD plus actual shipping costs.

it has to take it's rightful place along side an XA2, Natura S, Minox ML, Stylus Mju, Stylus zoom. What do I actually prefer? All my children...including 35S.

What is your best guess as to the problem with the viewfinder lines? Thanks.

I bought my Rollei 35 almost on the day that they were first offered for sale and when adjusted for inflation paid a lot more. Over the years I had to have dents knocked out but the camera and its meter were always reliable. Finally, after about 50 yrs I had to have cla.
Specks just appear on some bright lines, as in my Canon P. Nothing can be done about them and they have no effect on use. Noticed only when inspecting camera closely.
My tessar lens is great. Weight of camera and leaf shutter make hand held slow speeds practical.

To be honest, I don't know. Otherwise the viewfinder is bright and clean. It doesn't impair the use of the camera, I am just noting to ensure description is complete.
