It's time to begin signing up the Round 4 of the Group Print Exchange.

Post a reply here if you would like to join.

    *****************************************************
    DISCLAIMER:

There has been a few participants in the last exchanges that never received a print from someone in their group. By joining the exchange you need to understand that there is a slight chance that you might not receive a print from a member of the group that you are in.

Overall I think there is a great bunch of people here on APUG and like to think that no one is out to stiff anybody. People get busy and something like the Print Exchange gets put on the back burner with intentions of getting to it later, but for one reason or another the prints just never get finished.

You need to weigh the risk involved. Personally I feel that the reward is far greater than the risk. Because of this exchange I have some truly beautiful prints hanging in my home. And for the record there are 2 members that have not sent me a print, but I will not let that keep me from enjoying the exchanges.

In order to take part in Round 4 you must be current with the previous exchanges. If you have prints due to others you will need to get them sent before the groups for Round 4 are selected.

Those of you who have not received prints from past exchanges please send me a PM and let me know. (Previous PM's that I received about these have been deleted)
    *****************************************************

I'm thinking we will select groups the last week of February, and the prints will be due the last week of March.

I'll sign up again. I have one outstanding print, but I'm not mailing it until I get the word from the other side that one is ready to come to me.

I wonder if someone could give us an idea of a couple of things ::
How many prints does each person usually send out?
What types and sizes of prints go out?
I'm a very new analog groupie, and wonder how embarrassed I'd end up being - are there some beginners involved in this? The threads that discuss "value" worry me a bit, 'cause quite frankly, I wouldn't pay for mine  and if I'm getting something of serious value, then someone else would be getting short changed

    John

Last time there were four people in a group including you so that meant three prints shipped out. Not bad even for busy people. JMOORE does a great job of organizing

What ever size you feel comfortable sending. Mine were 5x7 contacts, other were 8x10 I think others were bigger.

We are happy with what we get. If you want a critique you will get one, if you do not you will get a hearty thankyou.

It is neat to get the print in the mail.

    Wow !!

Thank you for the reply Mark. It has pushed me over the edge, being an amount and quality that I think even I can handle

    Sign me up please !!

    ME TOO... ME TOO

    Jim,
    :D )
COUNT ME IN ... Pullllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze. This is a blast. Since I am in the same group as you (Jim), you know who we are waiting on for prints - one of which should arrive any day now since Matt received his.
Now, the hard part is deciding on which print is worthy for this go 'round.

Ok , I read the thread and it seems no more than 6-8 per group, if this is correct I would like to participate so count me in.

Not until I get some more negatives that are appropriate to print. So not this time for me. Sounds interesting though.

I'm only in if Ole is... (I've been in everything he has!)

Actually, I have a print that's actually personal exchange that needs to be out the door this week (Sorry for the delay Robert!) but I'm not signing up for anything until that is actually done.

thinking about it, I think what is great about the Postcard exchange is you don't have to package the prints to send  That's my biggest hurdle!
