I am so excited to find a site dedicated to real photography. I am a member of another forum and I get so tired of digital this and photoshop that... This site looks great, I hope I have time to catch up on old stuff and learn a lot. I need new inspiration, I haven't gone down to my darkroom in probably 2 weeks.

My name is Mindy, I'm 33, out west in Portland Oregon.

    Nice to be here.

Ok, so now Morten will be recruiting you into his Rodinal Militia! It's ok, I belong to it, too! There's lots going on here, and tons of great information!

BTW - I'm Jeanette (see below) I'm....well....I'm older than 33, and I'm in Wisconsin!

Welcome, Mindy. I wouldn't worry too much about the Rodinal, but I'd be dubious of anyone who offers it to you in a glass over ice.

Oh, and my name is Ralph. I'm substantially older than 33, and the rumor is that I was a stone mason in my youth. One of the early projects I'm reputed to have worked on:

Welcome Mindy from deepest rural Norfolk UK. The weather here sometimes gets a bit stormy but we're a good bunch really and our hearts are in the right place. Morten for instance has his in a jar pickling in Rodinal.

Glad to have you aboard Mindy. I too have a bottle of Rodinal, it has been on my darkroom shelf for about a year unopened, I have moved on!
My favorite brew is now Aculux 2. by Patterson, an antidote for Rodinal.
I am from the big wicked city, London UK, well outnumbered by those on the other side of the pond.
My age I have forgotten, but I am known unaffectionately as 'Stone Age Stan'
You will now be aware that, any help you may require in making friends - or influencing people, then I am the best person to confide in!

    Welcome Mindy.

I'm an Norwegian, somewhat older than 33, and I've never used Rodinal...

I keep planning to, but my local shop only has Rodinal in stock when I've just mixed a new batch of Beutler's - or FX-2 - or Pyrocat-HD - or Windisch' - or something else I think might be good for my negatives.

    Welcome Mindy, from Australia.
I'm a Rodinal fan too, but I also use Rodinal Special (Studional) for Scala, and Paterson FX39.
