As others have said: "buying dodging tools is a waste of money".
A coat hanger, a wad of chewing gum, a tuft of paper, and presto...
You've made a perfectly suitable dodging wand!

    If, on the other hand:
You'd like some fine tools to replace that collection of artifacts the tide washed up...
Tools to reach across prints ranging from wallet size gems up to 32x40 Louvre Masterpieces...
Tools that you'll find pleasure in using for years to come...
You may find some value here:

Seven steel dodging wands (three 20", three 12", a "mini-wiggler"), and a magnetic wall holder.
Just like the ones I made 30+ years ago.
    $39 + $11 (US shipping).

I really like the second picture. It looks like it could be of a wall piece by someone like Alexander Calder.

...it's like anything you sell. I could use my cell phone as my timer, but how many people here have a $40+ timer for their enlarger? In the last year I've probably wasted $15 worth of paper (from the tape end falling off or something similar) and spent at least 2 hours building my own dodging tools. It's a step towards precision, which is to each his own.

That 6x15 holder for the Omega series is awfully tempting...

Reinhold, I think you should look into having Freestyle carry them. As far as I know, they don't offer any dodging tools.

I'm supposed to be retired (hah!).
As it is, I'm chasing my tail having fun making PhotoTrinkets.

I'm kinda reluctant to sign a contract for a bunch of these things, then having a purchasig agent growl at me because he's out of stock and I want to go fishing...

Thanks, everyone, for all the kind words.

The set just arrived.. Reinhold.. Thank you! I'm very impressed with the labeling, packaging and the dodging tools! Do you secretly own your own darkroom supply company, if not, you should sell your items through Freestyle or other suppliers because your packaging, instructions, paper work and the dodging kit are at a professional level. Thanks again! I highly recommend this kit to everyone!

Everything you said above plus such things as the dreaded "deadline" when everything must be delivered before a certain date. This is ok for those that must have the money but not for people who put important things like fishing and, as they say in South Louisiana, "passing the good time" ahead of money. I do like the looks of your "artful dodgers" and as soon as I get a lens back from getting a CLA along with paying for it, I will most likely order the one that hangs on the wall in such a "pictorial" way. Unless I go fishing or take a siesta or something........Regards!

Addenda: I did somemore thinking about your wall mounted dodging tools. If I buy a set of these, will I be evicted from thr Darkroom Users of America for the sin of attempting to have a place for every tool and every tool in its place, Would they kick me out of the trashy darkroom group of America?.......Regards Again!
