I read Hasselblad quite a few months ago. Leica makes a film cam. Who else makes high end film cams?
We had a special thread on this.
You just have to check those links/manufactures, as that thread is a bit dated and some maker might have gone meanwhile.
They were not on that list explicitely. I just added them.
OP: Who else makes high end film cams?
Do Nikon and Canon no longer make pro-level film SLRs? Rolleiflexes are still being made. Cosina still makes the Voigtlander line of 35mm rangefinders, and the Voigtlander/Fuji medium format folding cameras.
Canon 1V and Nikon F6. I'm not sure where exactly you can buy them other than eBay - so, it's strange then that both makers have a product 'section' dedicated to them on their websites.
Does anyone know what kind of 'pro' uses either of these cameras? Bespoke advertising/fashion? Never heard anyone mention them on APUG, so there must be a specific market.
Canon's web site still has the EOS 1v on it and Nikon has both the F6 and FM10
At least a few months ago you could still buy a Canon 1V or Nikon F6 at B+H.
I believe the FM10 is made for Nikon by Cosina.
I'm not worry, I just buy used!
