I have a Soligor 200mm f2.8 that makes for a great little portrait lens but the front half is loose and wobbles, optics are fine and the aperture blades are snappy.

I can only do cameras, most of my lenses I send off.

I would also like a good source for removing oil from aperture blades.

That is just so easily done I'm dumbfounded that anybody couldn't do it. Get the glass out of it, swab the closed-down blades with a couple q tips dipped in naptha, and you're done.

Easy for some lenses, not so much for others. So, it really just depends...

Any competent camera repair shop should be able to overhaul a lens. I use Steve's Camera Repai in Culver City CA.

Sorry, but when I spoke I failed to remember that anything is easy if you know how to do it. Wasn't my intent to make you feel foolish. I suppose if it were incumbent on me to do a chemistry equation and couldn't, then somebody else might say I was the ignorant one. They'd be right.

Try Midwest Camera Repair in Michigan. http://www.midwestcamera.com/estimate.html
They're factory service for Nikon and do excellent repair work on other 35mm equipment too. Very fair prices and fast turnaround times. Fill out the form above and I'm sure they'll get you a quick estimate on your lens CLA.

That's a pretty thorough list. I wish the OP had mentioned what lens it was.
