I got some filters that came with my Widelux F8, they're not the normal ones I have seen with the little arm attached for fitting them. Mine is an F8 model, anyone have any idea how to fit these? They have writing in Japanese on edges, so seem made for this camera and lens, they look like they slot into front of lens, but the front of the Widelux drum-slit is not very wide... :s I have googled but all references are for filters with arm. Thanks.

Anton -- did the filters come with the camera? Or did you pick them up separately, having been told that they fit the Widelux?

I don't have experience with Widelux cameras to answer your question, but it might help someone who does to know why you believe they should fit your camera.

Those look kind of similar to the widelux ones but without the arm I don't think you're going to be able to mount them. Might be able to solder a new copper arm to the ring?

Yes, you need the little arm on them to mount them. There's a little clip inside the lens turret that they fit into.

Ask the previous owner. Maybe he removed them for some unfathomable reason.

Those filters all have strange marks.

Have you actually checked whether they fit? Maybe the can be pushed on (I don't know the Widelux)
Maybe the previous owner made an adapter to use standard filters and it got lost.

You might want to search around for a proper set of filters. In particular, the ND filter does come in handy a lot of times.
