    Hello all-

World Toy Camera Day 2006 is Saturday, October 21st.

We will have a print exchange of pictures made on that date.

It will be a group exchange, with groups of 4-6 people.
To join the exchange, please send me a PM with the words "Toy Camera Print Exchange" as the subject.
In the body of the PM, include:
    Your APUG nickname
    Your email address
    Your actual name
    Your mailing address
The last day to sign up for the exchange will be Tuesday, October 31st, 2006 at midnight, GMT.
The groups will be announced no later than Tuesday, the 7th of November, 2006.
It is expected that all prints will be delivered no later than the 31st of December, 2006.

A working definition of what a Toy Camera is can be found here.
If you would like to participate in a discussion of what constitutes a toy camera, please do so there. Beyond stating that digital toy cameras are not OK, I won't weigh in on what is or is not a toy. Use your judgement.

Prints may be of any size. Most people will probably send 8x10's.
Color, B&W, alt process are all welcomed.

Kewl! I'm in. Plus I'm planning to have a meet up on October 21 in NYC. I have several friends who also shoot toycams, so we're planning on a day of street shooting. More details to come in the other thread.

    Art.

Just curious - besides the 6 posting in this thread, how many folks have we got signed up for this so far? If it's a small number (say, less than or equal to 10), I'm willing to send out an image to everyone.

    Thanks, Art.

I just woke up after a 19 (nineteen) hour sleep because of a fever...
Feel better now, body temperature back to normal, and never mind the harsh wind, the rain, and the low temperature: I WILL dress warm and go out with my Holga and Lomo.

    Everybody: enjoy yourselves today!!!

    Photopete,

I'm posting for Dianna, since she's in the darkroom printing her exchange prints now. She wanted me to check and see how many she'll need and I can't figure it out from the thread. I see the roster posted with 11 members, then a few folks asked to be added, but I don't see a final roster. Also there was mention of breaking up into subgroups of 4-6 people, but I couldn't find the group divisions in this thread nor did I see another thread with the groups in it.

I'm wondering if maybe Dianna missed an E-Mail or PM with the list of people in her subgroup and their respective mailing addresses and contact info.

    What's the scoop?

    Apparently behind the curve,

    -KwM-
