    Howdy,

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to sell me a couple of pre-spooled rolls of Eastman Double-X 5222? I'd like to try a small sample before I decide that I want to buy longer lengths.

    Cheers

You can order from here -

    http://www.labeauratoire.com/

It's a bit pricey but it's cheaper than a 400 ft roll. The film could be expired also - you should ask first.

I'm in Canada and have some 5222 I could mail off, although it's summer here and it's been very hot so one might prefer to have me ship it in September when it's cooler.

Thanks for the link to http://www.labeauratoire.com/! Never heard of them before but it looks like a fun place for an experimenter like me to shop.

rthomas - http://www.labeauratoire.com/ - Yeah, the yellow Eastman "Space Film" looks looks like something that could never produce an image - I want to buy some just to see that the film has an emulsion that I can develop.

Interesting. I wish their selection was not limited to 35mm! I have a stack of 4x5 film holders and no film... I'd love to try something like that in a view camera.
