    The article indicates the black one as still on sale. I really wanted this but I could never justify the purchase. This or the m6 was debated on for awhile. I personally like the silver body.

    I couldnt remember if there was a black one. I guess I should have read better. To me that camera has always been a silver color. I would have thought black would go first.

    That's a surprise to me, since I'm a Zeiss dealer in Canada and have two of the cameras on order.
    I've emailed Zeiss to confirm.

    If that is true, I'm glad that I bought a ZI in january :smile:

    Well the information is on the ZEISS web site so I think it is safe to classify this as true.

    Where do they say that? I could not find any evidence on the English nor the German website.
    But still this is sad news :sad:

    I received word today from Zeiss.
    The Silver will no longer be made so is listed as "while supplies last".
    The Black one is still current.

    The black always outsold the silver.

    I have a black one coming today from B&H. I think they doscontinued the siver one because of bad reviews about the quality of the finish and people prefering the black one. Same price.
