Phenix DC901 has the SR mount.
Even if we take the technical possibilities of 1979 into account some things could have been made better:Quote:

Although I like the XD7 and the X700 they are sometimes a limitation.
So buy a XK .
No need to second guess the Minolta X700 some 30+ years after it's release as it won the 1981 European Camera of the Year.
It - as well as any other camera before or since, have their limitations. We photographers - likely more so then any others, know about compromises as we constantly work within limitations of our tools, the light and the subject.
