, the groom is a DJ. I tried to talk her out of it, but she insisted that she did not want a traditional wedding shoot. She hired a photographer to do some portraits prior to the ceremony, and she asked me to just shoot what I wanted - that she wanted something more artistic and original for the day itself.
In my opinion, one of the most important things when doing a job for someone is to understand what it is that your client wants. A list of poses and lighting for traditional wedding portraits might not be it!
