I entered it a couple years ago and made it to the second cut, but I need better scans than what my crummy scanner is capable of producing before I enter such a contest again. And that's way the flow is going these days, making all the judgments on scans rather than prints. Its a shame but really can't blame people for doing it that way. It gets even harder if you do ULF unless you have access to a high-end scanner that can scan the entire print. Anything larger than 8.5x11.5 has to be stitched together from multiple scans, so in essence, it winds up being digital. |
