David. Someone could try and list all the +ve suggestions made here on APUG since the thread began which might take a lot of effort and time OR probably quicker you could list those +ve suggestions you've gleened( I suspect a somewhat ltd no. in your opinion based on your whaaaat! reaction) and tell us the status on them. This is bound to trigger those "hidden" suggestions APUGers believe they have made already. That may be the quickest way to get into the +ve suggestion mode.
I'll start it off if you like. I mentioned an article by Peter Hogan on Prescysol based on such things as how did he arrive at it, what's his non acid stop based on, etc. He or another contributor might develop two sets of negs of identical shots in different devs and demonstrate where Prescysol improves things. OK it could be construed as advertising but there are ways of ensuring it isn't simply self promotion but has genuine information. Anyway a simple article on new v old Tmax or any new development could equally be construed the same way but most, I feel, wouldn't construe it as such.
Incidentally I should add to my earlier post that if economic needs must, I wouldn't have a problem with an increased digi content as long as it wasn't at the expense of analogue. If the magazine simply gets bigger and fatter because of this well so be it - I'll live with that.
It's the fear that analogue will be left to wither on the vine that prevents my subscription. I once subscribed to AP and saw my money wasted in a very short time.
Thanks
