Long weekend, I am in town, and will likely will be able to stand straight.

I am planning to pull up some dog pee stained old hardwood the prior owner had been kind enough to carpet over at least 9 years ago inn the spare bedroom. Grrr...

So a ton of nails to pull, a new sub-floor to glue down take the squeaks and lay engineered hardwood.

So getting up off my hands and knees probably will be a nice change.

If the project is behind I will pass on the photo opportunity and get the second floor looking less like a war zone.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread to a plan of action, all.

Well, then I guess we have a meeting set for 5/ 19 @ 10:30AM at the NW corner of Keele and Dundas. If there are any changes with the people involved please post here. Now the most difficult part, what camera should I take?

Thanks for that. Did you see the one I posted upthread to Mihai?

If we run out of film, inspiration, or the cameras jam, we can always gawk at the Contact displays.

Weather looks good, too.

I will be there. My flooring revamp project is now 95%, and my legs have almost stopped aching after the start up working of idle muscles last Sunday.

Now to decide on a camera or two. Too many in my stable at the moment. Hopefully I will move some out at the Bog One on the 27th, and make picking an easier task.

Looking forward to seeing Gary and Mihai again, and meeting other new to me screen names in the flesh.

It was a really nice trip. Enjoyed the company of some really seasoned photographers, and learnt a lot. Scanning some of the cvs film that i got developed at walmart which they have managed to screw up really well. :(

Hi Guys, very nice meeting Gary, Mike and Missi on this street photography outing. It was fun, it was challenging because I figured after I developed that my Pentax MEF has a shutter problem.
Most of my shots on this film have dark bands. Luckily the second camera Canon AE1-P with the 85mm lens worked just fine and I managed to get few shots that stirred my curiosity for this kind of photography and will make me go back. Here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mihai-costea/sets/72157629831824918/) is the link to my Flickr set dedicated to this event. I hope we can organize these outings more often.

Sorry about the Pentax. That's why I have 2-3 back-ups of each of my favorite bodies--or so I tell myself...

Nice shots. Any more? Might be fun to go back either much earlier or late aft/early evening here or elsewhere around downtown TO. Enjoyed the day, too.

Try the Loblaws at Glen Erin+Eglinton. Their processing is reasonably consistent+they can do 120 C-41, too, so no excuses for letting the Hassie collect dust. Hard to imagine them doing a worse job than Walmart! Like the shot.

You should try the PHSC swap meet next Sunday for short-dated and expired film.

Thanks.
I called up that Loblaw's, they dont process 120 anymore, the rates for 35 mm are $5.99 in 5 days and $6.99 in 1 hour.
Other places developing 120 are expensive, up to $9.99 for developing. better stick to Image Works, cheap and professional.

Funny but I think they might. Depends on who you ask there. Their work was OK-ish and saved a trip to TIW for non-critical stuff. I usually just 'fridge exposed 120 and save it for a day I'm downtown and visit TIW.
