Right and all you have to do is strike 'em off as the list shortens up!

Sadly... Yes. The countdown to extinction :(

Cool, so he can build up the list and you can strike them off, seems like a perfect fit for you...:whistling:

This, like the parallel "last living cameras list," seems a bit pointless--if only because there's just not that much to know. Why mope about what's obvious?

Ok, I started working on this. I am going to try to include all configurations; ie sizes, packaging (25 sheets, 50 sheets, 5 rolls, etc) and when possible the manufacturer catalog number. This will probably take a few WEEKS to finish as it's a lot of reading, copying, pasting, editing, and organizing. But it should be a pretty cool experiment when all done. I'm starting to think the best way will to be make an entire thread, then one post for every film. Put a link to that post in the top post. That should make things less confusing. So maybe post #23 will be, say, Portra. There will be a link in the first post in the thread "Color Films > Kodak > Portra", click on that and you go right to post #23.

Stay tuned....

How are you going to address the facts of actual availability in any given country ? Not all importers carry the full range of products and sometimes they carry products not available elsewhere.

That is Ilford UK's full list. If there are any more formats, they should know about them.
Well... maybe not!
(I cut HP5+ down to Super 8 and reversal process it!)

I wasn't thinking specifically about Ilford. There are and have been Kodak and Fuji products only available in some countries. For instance Fuji didn't sell some of their B&W films in every market and this is still the case with their B&W papers.

It would be kind of interesting to know what is available regardless of the market in which it is officially sold. In the age of internet commerce, I think that "not available in a specific country" just means "harder to get in that country." Of course if there is information to this effect, it could be added.

Well, finding something is a whole lot easier when you know what you are supposed to be looking for.
