One of my film images was chosen for a Denver advertising industry blog. They have a Type Around Town project going. You can check it out here http://www.thedenveregotist.com/news/local/2012/may/18/type-around-town-1956-lawrence-street

Couldn't have been taken in 1956 I think (the external shading devices probably were very very uncommon and aluminium windows probably not in existence). You could have photoshopped it as 1996 though :whistling:

Very nice composition indeed, which is what matters :D

Nice shot, and congrats on getting it picked up in the ad industry blog, but I thought 1956 was the address, not the year it was built. Is it?

Thanks everyone. David, you are correct, 1956 is the address.

The blogger who used this image wrote:

This image has a great duality. Obviously shot on film this image evokes a feeling of being back in time complimented by the address alluding to the year this may have been taken.

Film, B&W and 1956 matched as an association of ideas, just the architectural style didn't fit, that's all.

Hence my (admittedly superfluous) comment.
