Dolly and John,
Sue and I had a delightful time at your gathering. We really and truly count you two as a pair of our greatest friends. We had a great time, enjoyed your company, the farm and the friends.

John and Dolly....thanks so much for hosting again. Nice to see everyone and take some photos downtown. The negatives from the flats looks good even though I wasn't nearly as productive as John.

Thanks Jeff B for checking out the wiring on my plate burner. It seems to need a part. I will write Amergraph and see if they still have one. The light works well. It just needs a part to hold one of the two hoses at the vacuum motor. I can use the light and my print frame if I canít locate the part.

Jeff suggested that once I get into VanDyke production I could do a demo of that to and to our series of Alt Processes demos.

John

Thanks for putting up with all of us again. Looking forward to the next gathering.

I finally turned on my computer tonight, which is why I'm so late in responding. It was a great event as always. thank you John & Dolly for everything. After I got home, I stopped at my girlfriend's house while the boys (husband/boyfriend) were splitting logs for firewood. Log splitter for 3 days... work, work, work! So I shot two more 4x5s & 3 holga infrareds with her.
Tomorrow I'll develop my negs and then maybe Wed or Thurs scan them.

Ok, again thank you!

Thanks for having us John and Dolly! Looks like you have a good 'core group' that show up every time you post your thread. I really thought Friday night I'd be having Pizza with only you and Jeff Bannow; what I nice surprise to see all the familiar faces.

the one 8x10 looks beautiful. the six 4x5s didn't do so well. probably old film or old developer. can't wait to print!

Peter,
fantastic work. I hope we manage to make it one of these at the same time again soon. I would love to see these in person.

Here's mine - 8x10 but I cropped it. This is a scan of a print. Didn't like the composition so I cropped it. The 4x5s of the bridge didn't come out. maybe next time.

That was taken with your no-shutter lens? Is is printed on the Ilford 300 paper?

Last time i was at 'the farm' I brought my 8x10 Century with a shutterless lens from the late 1800s. Like you, I had to seek a darker spot to be able to time the exposure. This one is printed on Ilford Warmtone and sepia toned.

Dale and Dorothy,

Thank you for posting these. I love the Farm. There are so many interesting things to see and so many ways to interpret them in images. Great job. We are on a roll.

I like that one and as I learned when I went back to capture it, the scene changes every day. That shot is gone, but an equally interesting one has come in its place.
