It's certainly un-English!

Not warm - room temperature.

In England, how often is room temperature actually warm ! :munch:

Steve.

Yes, I have had some of that heating. In a hotel in Cambridge that was last refurbished during the third Crusade. And the plumbing? All night... drip, drip, drip. (Which is more than came out when I tried to take a shower).

They best part was the yellow police tape crisscrossed over the entrance to the elevator. And the other elevator weren't too hot neither. I took the stairs.

Speaking of heating, I turned mine off on March 15th.

:blink::blink::blink::blink:

If an elevator is a lift, what is it that you call an elevator?

And while we're at it, what are tyres, bollocks, and wankers?

Non existent.

And while we're at it, what are tyres

Spelled correctly.

(and those two other naughty words shouldn't be uttered in polite company).

Which is really stupid when you are going DOWN. Or do you call it a DROP then?

And yes, I call it a delevator when descending.

I am sure bollocks are those those things in the terlet that go up and down to turn the water valve off and wankers are certainly part of an automobile engine (except in my Fiat 500e).
