View Full Version : Unicolor drum spacers - FREE! (sort of) bobfowler 01-19-2005, 11:32 AM I've made a few of these in the past and they work great. They are made from heavy rubber and are very close to the hard to find originals. I have enough material left to make about a dozen more of these elusive little beasts and I'm willing to crank them out free for APUG members. All I ask is that those who want one make a small donation (via the honor system, amount not important) to APUG.
Post here if you're interested and PM me with your snail mail addy.
At the moment, I'll have to cut it off after the first 12 requests, so PLEASE, check here to see how many have requested one before sending your donation!
If I wind up with enough material to make more, I'll post a follow up with how many more I can make. I'll make them up this weekend and get them in the mail Monday morning.
FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED! r-brian 01-20-2005, 04:51 PM Bob
I'm interested in one of the spacers. I've tried making a spacer but the negatives slide by it and nested on top of each other ruining all 4 negatives. I have resorted to developing 2 negatives at a time.
Brian bobfowler 01-20-2005, 07:42 PM No problem, one is on the way.
That's #1, 11 to go! Chaska 01-20-2005, 09:43 PM Bob I would love one as well. I will PM you with my address
Sean, my donation will be on the way later tonight (Chemicals are waiting in the darkroom.) bobfowler 01-20-2005, 10:13 PM Fantastic!
2 down, 10 still available... BruceN 01-20-2005, 11:45 PM I would like one, Bob. I've yet to get a 4x5 camera, but I have the use of one. Also - I just made a deal for a Zone VI 5x7 enlarger so I'm way excited about advancing beyone 6x6 cm.
Bruce bobfowler 01-21-2005, 05:40 AM Very good!

Including those who didn't post here but PM'd me, that makes 7 down, 5 to go... Hi Bob,
I'll take one if you still have it. I have made some out of white Staedler eraser material and this works OK, but I have had some accidents...
cheers,

I just made mine. It was a lot more than a spacer would cost, but somehow this feels better. ;) |
