I've got to say that the one you posted of the dry cleaning machine is very cool. I hope I get in your group. :D

Thanks Matt! Talk about someone making your day :p

Am I too late to participate? If not, please put me on the list.

I can't participate at the moment, but I want to share the quote that the Greek Post Office used for an advertisement of their postcards:

"You can't delete a postcard"

I don't suppose there are many rules, but is there a preferred print size? Mounted?

Any size print. I have been sending 8x10 prints, but I might do 11x14 this time. I haven't decided yet.

Mounted or unmounted. I mount and mat everything that go's out the door.

Fiber or RC paper, although I think everyone would agree that FB paper is preferred. Everything that I send out is printed on FB paper.

Color, Black & White, Alt. Process. It doesn't matter.

The bottom line is send something that you would be proud to have hanging in someones home.

This list seems bigger than last one. Is it?

I'm in again this. I really like the B&W print I got from Sjixxxy last go around; it gives me something to aspire to, when I shoot B&W (which is rare).

Thanks,

Sjixxxy

I too am new to this but it sounds like fun. You can count me in for the exchange. If we are in groups of 4 or five would work best for me. I don't know how it all works but I am sure I will learn as I go along.

I wonder if someone could give us an idea of a couple of things ::
How many prints does each person usually send out?
What types and sizes of prints go out?
I'm a very new analog groupie, and wonder how embarrassed I'd end up being - are there some beginners involved in this? The threads that discuss "value" worry me a bit, 'cause quite frankly, I wouldn't pay for mine :) and if I'm getting something of serious value, then someone else would be getting short changed :(

I'm with John on this one. I'm a darkroom beginner but want to get better, so this sounds like a great way to get started...

Count me in Jim.

Count me in as well. I'll be looking forward to seeing other peoples work as well as getting some feed back on my own. The good and especially the helpful insights.
